1. The church should be generous givers because it reflects the character and the grace of God, who has given us everything in Christ.

2. God loves a cheerful giver who gives not out of compulsion, but out of gratitude and joy.

3. Generous giving also benefits the church itself, as it enables the church to participate in God’s work in the world, to support the needs of the saints, and to glorify God through praise and thanksgiving.

4. Generous giving is a sign of faith, obedience, and love for God and His people.

Each year, an annual budget is presented to the church body for review and is agreed upon by the church members. With an operating budget established, MBC strives to utilize any giving with integrity by distributing to these areas of interest.

To reduce processing fees incurred by Credit Card transactions and to help make your donation go further, please consider donating using the following methods:

1. Setting up automatic monthly withdrawals (contact church for instructions)

2. E-transfer to giving@mbcgateway.ca

3. Directly from your checking or savings account

4. Cash

5. Cheque

Insert receipt/cash/cheque in yellow envelope and write on envelope where you wish funds should be directed. Place envelope in the offering box near the church office by main entry or at the coffee bar.

If the project for which the gift is received is fully funded or cannot be completed for reasons beyond the control of MBC, the Council of Overseers of MBC reserves the right to use such funds for other projects.

If you would like a receipt at the end of the year please put your donation into an envelope with your name and address on it.
